conference “Women Staging and Re-staging the Nineteenth Century” to be held at the Universitat de València between 5-7 October.
The programme includes the keynote addresses by Polly Teale (Artistic
director and playwright, Arts Psychotherapist), Janice Norwood
(University of Hertfordshire), Beth Palmer (University of Surrey), Lin
Pettersson (Universidad de Málaga) and guest interviews with Vanessa
Montfort (novelist and playwright) and Ian Rickson (Artistic Director of
the Royal Court Theatre between 1998 and 2006).
Also, the performance of “Jim's Leg” and “The Mothers' Meeting” by L. S.
Phibbs translated by group member Miguel Teruel and staged by Cactus
Teatre with an after-show talk.
